Ali began her legal career at Sedgwick LLP, where she managed civil litigation and class action matters on behalf of clients in the retail and employment sectors. Her litigation background spans all phases of dispute resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. This experience equips her with the analytical skills to evaluate evidence thoroughly and the judgment to reach well-supported conclusions.
In addition to litigation, Ali has provided strategic advice to employers across industries, including guidance on compliance, workplace policies, and best practices. She has conducted numerous investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, and other workplace misconduct, consistently delivering objective findings that help organizations address issues fairly and effectively.
Ali is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators and is admitted to practice law in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in English (with a minor in German) from UC Berkeley.
