witnesses, she has honed her skills as a listener, communicator, and writer. She is also specially trained in Title IX investigations and trauma-informed investigative techniques, ensuring sensitivity and fairness in complex matters.

Prior Experience
Ali launched her legal career at Sedgwick LLP, where she handled general civil litigation and class action
matters for clients in the retail and employment sectors. Her litigation practice encompassed all phases, including responding to pre-litigation demands, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing for trial or arbitration. She has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts.
Beyond litigation, Ali has provided strategic advice and counsel to clients across diverse industries, focusing on regulatory compliance and best practices. She has conducted interviews relating to employment, harassment, discrimination, and compliance investigations and disputes.
Ali is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators and is admitted to practice law in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (minor in German) from UC Berkeley and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Deeply committed to her community, Ali has worked for many years on the service boards of two early childhood schools, and volunteers as Block Captain for her neighborhood, serving as a liaison with the LAPD. She also volunteers with Baby2Baby, a non-profit organization supporting children and mothers in need.
